Scheduling and calendar management: The EA will be responsible for managing the CEO/COO’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Communication management: The EA acts as a filter, screening phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication on behalf of the CEO/COO. They also draft emails, letters, and other correspondence as needed.
Administrative tasks: The EA will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks of the CEO/COO’s office, including filing, record keeping, and preparing reports.
Project management: The EA may be required to manage special projects, such as organizing events, conducting research, and coordinating with other departments.
Confidentiality: The EA is entrusted with handling confidential information and must always maintain strict confidentiality.
Interpersonal skills: The EA must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO/COO
Proactivity: The EA must be proactive, anticipating the needs of the CEO/COO and take appropriate actions to ensure their work is completed smoothly.
5 – 6 years of relevant experience managing an executive’s office as an EA
Bachelors / master’s in administration / Mass Communication / Secretarial practice
